Just finished reading Auntie Dion Chatter's monologue about hustlers. If you haven't read it yet, then take the time to do so. In addition to "her" many words of wisdom, "her" message that many of "us" feel that others are usually honest and trustworthy makes "us" extremely vulnerable. If you fall into this category, I admire you as a decent human being no matter how naive "we" may be at times. While guarding against a cynical outlook towards life and wanting to be able to trust others in the world, unfortunately "we" must face the pragmatic reality that NOT everyone feels as "we" do. Kind, sincere, thoughtful souls can and do get involved in relationships with others who feel similarly, but BEWARE: The "hustler" is unfortunately ever present in our community. !!Oh is he ever!! I'll add my note of caution: What you see isn't always what you necessarily get. just sign me this time as, Ive Been Der (alias Hope Never Agin)
