Now that net.works.apollo no longer exists, don't forget to update
your aliases file in the LIB directory to alias net.apollo and
net.works.apollo to net.works. Thanks.

The checkactive control messages are nice. I think it would be equally useful to have similar control messages for the alias file, the moderators file (yes, I know that some sites would have to manually edit this), the Newsgroups file, and even the Site listing stuff.
