I would like to look at as complete a collection as possible of network news. I realize that this will be mostly a collection of drivel, but I think that it might have alot of sociological interest, which Id like to study. In fact Id be very surprised if this organization, which is one of the first in the world of its kind, doesnt have a record of messages that have been sent, at least for historical interest. It would be a shame if it has all vanished, like early television. I realize that the collection would be alot of data. I estimate about 6 x 10**7 bytes per month, or about one 6250 bpi tape. Id be willing to send a bunch of tapes on which the stuff could be dumped, or even come and do it myself. By comparison with some other sets of data, this isnt much.
