Beware of trying to do an rmgroup of newsgroup net. The rmgroup script will try to do an rm -r /usr/spool/news/net, and you've lost all the news. You will have to delete the entry in "active" by hand and then remove the messages in /usr/spool/news/net. -Mike Wescott ncrcae!wescott

I suspect that the reason the "rmgroup net" went out was that a
"newgroup net" went out before and someone with "a little knowledge"
tried to fix it.
