The list of newsgroup names that Mark posted was old. The merging of the two names (mod.mac and net.micro.mac) into one (comp.sys.mac) was an oversight, which was later corrected. Even if it was desireable to merge them, its almost certainly technically impossible. This is not to promise that at some later time net.micro.mac might not need to become a moderated group - however if that's going to happen you will be told (asked?) about it. The current name shuffle is not proposing to do that. Robert Elz munnari!kre
