Where was that discussion a while back on computer-generated form letters and their resulting weird address formats? Anyway, I just received one myself: Mailing from PC Magazine, addressed to "Mr. W Martin C Spc" (my job title [at least the short format] is Computer Specialist, so I usually use "Comp Spec" and it gets mangled in various ways). The accompanying letter is addressed, of course, to "Dear Mr. Spc:". Maybe that's a phonetic rendition of "Spock"? I should check my ears... :-) Will
