I'd like to conduct a survey of the readers of this newsgroup. Please don't lecture me on the potential statistical effects of the sample space; I know what I'm doing (I think). What I want to know is this: how many of us really find -- for the purposes of our own work -- that pop-up menus make systems easier to use? If you can't live without them in some contexts and can't live with them in others, tell me about it. Please be as specific as you can or have time to be. I want your honest account of your experience. Please send replies by mail, and I'll summarize results to the net. Thanks for helping. Jim Crandell ({ihnp4,ut-ngp}!ut-sally!crandell)
