According to "Break-Through: A Magazine Dedicated to Kate Bush Fans" (it
used to be dedicated to "Kate Bush", not "Kate Bush Fans", but
apparently they are pissed off at her for not supporting them well
enough), "KBV [Kate Bush's fifth album] is now in the hands of EMI and
they are planning a marketing strategy. Apparently three cuts (of the
ten on the album) have commercial potential and the decision as to which
single to release first will be made. Aside from this, the album is to
be pressed and distributed worldwide. KBV is 'expected' for a UK
release in February and a North American release in March....
Unfortunately, Kate is not planning to make her way over to this
continent to promote KBV."

She had said earlier that she would really like to do some concerts in
the U.S., but that money was a problem. Her concerts are very elaborate
and never make money.

With regard to collaborations: Kate sings a duet "You (The Game, PtII)"
with Roy Harper on his album "The Unknown Soldier" (1980 EMI SHVL820).
The song is about genetic engineering and David Gilmour co-wrote the
song. (By the way, there is a message written on the run-off grooves of
this album which says "To Kate With Love, Roy". And on "Never for Ever"
there is the dedication "Special thanks to... Roy Harper for holding on
to the poet in his music; Peter Gabriel for opening the windows...") Of
course, David Gilmour does background singing on the song "Pull Out The
Pin" on the "Dreaming" and Kate Bush did background singing for Peter
Gabriel on his third album on the songs "Games Without Frontiers" and
"No Self Control", and on a Lesley Duncan album, and on Zaine Griff's
"Figures" (I have no idea who either Lesley Duncan or Zaine Griff are).
Kate Bush also did a duet with Peter Gabriel on her BBC Christmas
special. This duet also appears on a bootleg Peter Gabriel picture
disk, but it is very collectible and usually costs about $40. The song
is a cover of Roy Harper's "Another Day" (a very good song! Though I've
only heard Roy's version).

With regards to cameos: Kate Bush appeared on Saturday Night Live and
sang "Them Heavy People" and "The Man with the Child in his Eyes". She
has appeared on all sorts of shows in England and Europe and Australia.
There is a video tape that you can buy in record stores of a 1979
concert. It is called "Kate Bush Live at Hammersmith Odeon", it is 52
minutes and usually costs about $50. On this tape, Kate performs
"Moving", "Them Heavy People", "Violin", "Strange Phenomena", "Hammer
Horror", "Don't Push Your Foot on the Heartbrake", "Wow", "Feel It",
"Kite", "James and the Cold Gun", "Oh England My Lionheart", and
"Wuthering Heights".

If you are really rich, there is also a video tape that has to be
imported from Japan. It is called "Kate Bush: The Single File" and has
promotional videos for "Wuthering Heights", "Man with the Child in his
Eyes", "Hammer Horror", "Wow", "Them Heavy People", "Breathing",
"Babooshka", "Army Dreamers", "Sat in Your Lap", "The Dreaming",
"Suspended in Gaffa", and "There Goes a Tenner". All artistic concepts
and choregraphy throughout by Kate Bush. It costs $75 and can be
ordered from "Break-Through".

Kate also appears on a video tape available from MGM/UA Home Video
called "The Prince's Rock Trust Gala". This was a benefit performance
at the Dominion Theatre, London, on 21 July 1982, featuring Kate Bush,
Pete Townsend, Phil Collins, Robert Plant, Jethro Tull, Midge Ure (of
Ultravox), Gary Brooker (of Procol Harum), and Madness. Kate does a
version of "The Wedding List" backed by Townsend, Collins, Ure, Brooker,
and Mike Carn. This video tape can be found for $38.95.
