I am presenting a paper later this year on the effects of command language punctutation on human performance. The results of a series of experiments quite conclusively shows -- the more the punctuation, the worse off the command language. The motivation for the experiments, and the specific languages tested were the CCITT Man-Machine Language (known as MML) and semantically identical versions used in the telecommunications world. If anyone would like more details, drop me an e-note or respond to the notesfile. CCITT, by the way, is an international group affiliated with the United Nations that sets standards for telecommunications. Dean Radin - AT&T Bell Labs - Columbus cbosgd!dir
