INTERFACE 85 FOURTH SYMPOSIUM ON HUMAN FACTORS AND INDUSTRIAL DESIGN IN CONSUMER PRODUCTS ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA MAY 20-22, 1985 This meeting is the fourth in a series of symposia devoted specifically to the application of human factors and industrial design to consumer products. It is the only symposium series devoted exclusively to this interdisciplinary topic. The focus of the symposium is the user-product interface. How do product designers use human factors and industrial design techniques to create successful products? This symposium is an opportunity to exchange ideas, tools, and methods with professionals from different disciplines who all share the objective of creating products that succeed in meeting the user's needs.
