We are looking for a laboratory assistant to schedule and run subjects, analyze data, etc. for our Human Factors/Psychology laboratory at GTE Laboratories in Waltham, Mass (outside of Boston). We have research projects in speech perception and human-computer interaction currently in progress. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a strong background in experimental psychology and statistics. Supporting courses in math and natural sciences are recommended, and some programming experience is necessary. Applicants should also have good organizational and interpersonal skills. We would welcome applicants from anywhere, but be forewarned that GTE Labs does not provide travel expenses for interviews for this position.
