[I am posting this response for a friend of mine who does not have Usenet access of her own. Please mail replies to .....!pegasus!lzmi!lznv!klc thanks.....rob (yes, I AM a supportive male) coben] To Ariel Shattan: I feel very encouraged about your item on hairy legs. Mine are also hairy (as much so as my husbands!) and the hair is black. I have not shaved my underarms or legs for about 5 years or so. I love my underarm hair - but I am just getting used to my leg hair (old socialization dies hard). I used to wear pants most of the time so that they could not be seen, but I have been wearing skirts lately. Thus, I must either get used to it or shave (which I refuse). I also *hate* to wear stocking - they always fall down in the crotch. This winter, I will try to get long enough skirts to be able to wear nylon knee socks so that they look like opac stockings. However, in the summer I have to let it all hang out. I hope you have found this supportive. I would also like to comment on your P.S. about "bad" contributions from men. I totally agree! An article from a man on his hairy legs would indeed be belittling to this discussion. So men, if you have something serious to say, please say it. Otherwise, keep your nose out of it. Karen L. Cohen
