Do you often forget when your period is suppose to come? If you do, you can use UNIX to remind you of it. It is not difficult to write a shell that compares the date to the first day of your last period and then tells you when you can expect your next period. I find it convinient to let UNIX keep track of such matters. (However, during my vacations, since I rarely log onto the terminal then, I need to make sure the keep track manually.)
