[net.women.only] Thicker/rougher hair growth.

 I've been given to understand that the hair is not growing back any
 thicker.  However, it may seem so, for when hair is long, its tip thins
 out and becomes less "prickly" whereas newly cut hair (like newly cut
 grass) has a blunt, tough tip.
