I have been informed that several people are insulted that we are carrying
parts of this discussion on-line, as opposed to private mail. Please accept
this as an apology; I certainly didn't mean to be insulting, or imply that
I am "better" than you.
What I was trying to do was to keep the net community somewhat informed of
what was going on. If this mailing list ever gets off the ground, it will
have changed (conceptually) several times due to the number of people who
have added to the discussion. So if you really think this is a terrible
idea, write. In fact, I've changed my mind about the need and or purpose
of the group because of the mail I've received.
This has been an interesting experience, and I think the principals involved
have gotten alot out of the discussion. However, in the interest of keeping
tempers from flaring, I will take myself off-line (at least about this
issue :-) ).
