In discussing Microware C, someone said "who knows what will happen once Radio Shack gets their hands on it ... considering the low price." This brings up a question I, as a new OS-9 owner, have wondered about: Did RS leave anything out of "standard" OS-9? If so, what? Some drivers may have been omitted for hardware not currently implemented on Cocos--never mind those. Are there any utilities, etc missing, or fundamental features? Is the real OS9 shell as stripped bare as Coco's? Actually, I'm very pleased that the Shack ADDED such Coco niceties as the hi-res graphics (everything but PAINT, essentially, and PUT/GET) and a sys call to read the mouse (ok, joysticks). The assembler looks fairly good. Anyone wanna selll an EMACS? --mike k
