Having had a Color Computer I since early 1981, I had built a 'real' keyboard for it and hooked it up externally to the CoCo. I soon tired of this arrangement and desiredto get a plug in keyboard for it. Doing a quick price comparison, I realized that is was cheaper to sell the CoCo I and get a CoCo II and upgrade it. Here is my problem, Color Basic 1.2 has a revised keyboard scan routine that is reportedly quicker than the old one but, I've noticed that some programs (like Assembly Language Routines) have had problems with double letters. Namely, it only recoginzes the first of the two characters. I had thought that maybe this was caused by the routine being quicker and the programs thinking that the returned character was still the first character. Has anyone else seen this problem or know the cause? I'm thinking of looking at the bad routines I/O section but I'm not sure if this is a known bug or not? Any help would save me some time and effort and will be greatly appreciated. -- Steven M. Queriolo AT&T Bell Labs, Short Hills hlhop!smq
