A few queries about obscure groups/musicians. Has anyone heard of Ian Cussick? I've seen one album by him dated about 1983. It sounds a little like Jon Anderson (Yes) with a slightly lower range. I bought All the Young Dudes by Mott the Hoople a few months ago and really enjoyed it. What other albums by this group are worth getting (e.g. Best of MtH)? How about albums by the band members like Ian Hunter (what little I've heard of his stuff I've found rather interesting)? Thanks in advance... Bill Hsu ucbvax!pur-ee!hsut

The album called "MOTT" is probably the group's other really good album...it contains such classics as "All The Way From Memphis" and "I Wish I Was Your Mother". I have all of Ian Hunter's solo work and most of it is well worth having. Especially good are the albums titled "Ian Hunter", "All American Alien Boy", and "You're Never Alone With A Schizophrenic". Each album contains some good rockers as well as a few of the ballads Hunter does so well. Jim Rathman Norman, OK uokvax!jrathman
