Has anyone seen or tried Radio Shack's new DMP-105 dot-matrix printer? For a mere $199.95 it seems like excellent value, especially for someone whose computer has only a serial (RS232) interface. With its 9x8 matrix it might even have true descenders :-) ? Has other features for sure: 80 c/min, 3 character pitches, graphics, underline, boldface. Can it be switched so as NOT to add its own linefeed after each carriage-return? This is needed to allow some word-procs to do overstrikes. Please mail any replies to me, or post in .6809 or .trs-80, TIA. PS: I decided not to bother with the Gorilla Banana or the Olivetti inkjet. PPS: The DMP-105 takes either tractor or friction feed 8.5" wide paper.
