[net.micro.6809] Answer to quest for OS9 on Apple II's

steve@wlbr.UUCP (Childress) (02/26/85)

The Apple OS9 package is sold by

Stellation Two
POB 2342
Santa Barbara, CA 91230
(805) 966-1140

I believe that Jim Hinds, et al, are still selling the Apple package.
It consists of OS9 Level I, version 1.1 and an Apple II co-processor
board with a 1MHz 6809. The 6502 is the I/O processor for the system,
using a 1K 6502 code program. If you buy this system, mail me a
request for other system software.

What does this package (OS9 and co-processor board) cost??? (Sounds
Great! -- where can I try one out!)

Does anybody have experience with it? Does the board have its own
memory, or does it use the Apple II memory? Does it run with a IIe?
Can it use the extended memory bank option on the IIe as a ram-disk?
Does it come with a C compiler? Assembler, Linking Loader?
Tell us more! Lots of questions!!!
