The University of Idaho Vandals - nice mindlessly destructive touch, I always thought. Two of the teams from the league my highschool played in: Corry Beavers - makes one wonder when that particular bit of slang entered the language. I assume the school name predated it. I don't know wether to believe "Breakfast of Champions" on the etymology or not. Cranberry Berries By the way, didn't some school in the midwest have a vote among the students for the team name, and the vote turned out: "The Screaming Thunderchickens"
