Recently I posted the Laura Creighton definition of a hacker to several newsgroups. Here it is again, for those of you who missed it. A hacker does for love what others would not do for money. A lot of people have sent me mail saying that they liked the definition. Some of them asked me if they could have my permission to quote it. Well folks, this is a public domain quote.
