I seem to recall a book written about the topic but I can't recollect the title or author. I also seem to recall that the defense suggested was to request calibration records for the radar unit. Is this a possible defense? Tom Turano Path: decvax!decwrl!rhea!gold!turano /* ---------- */ I work with a lady whose husband is a lawyer. He once got a ticket and marched into court with a person who is an expert on the radar devices; he also had an expert to relate the weather conditions that day. Between the lawyer and the two experts, it became apparent that the radar unit could have been reading "high" enough to compensate for the reading that was on the ticket. He beat the ticket. It can be done. (If I get a ticket, I might just ask Michael to defend me. I wonder how much a lawyer costs...) Jeff Bowles Lisle, IL
