[net.legal] Censorship in Canada

Flame, tower thereof...

Supposedly, there is 'no censorship' in Canada.

I wonder what they call making it illegal for certain
books to be brought into Canada then? Selective Criticism, maybe?

No, I'm not talking about such books subjectively called "Pornographic".
I'm talking about books which convey political ideology.
One such book is known as, "The Anarchist's Cookbook.", dealing with
the aranchistic ideology.

I have received one reply stating that it is illegal. Has anyone else
had experience with bringing such a book into Canada or funny goings on
with customs?

What about the famous RCMP censorship and confiscations of said materials?

Hey, maybe they have some secret site where they read AND censor netnews?
Wouldn't surprise me in the least. Yep, 1984 is here at last with
The Ministry of Truth and the Thought Police. Well, one consolation
is that they admit that the book still exists...

I want to know just what this socialistic-democratic goverment of ours is
try to pull here?

Flame off... for now.
