[net.misc] More bizarre high school names

Hey, Michael, let's get things straight here, okay?  There is no
Hanford, WA, to my knowledge.  There is a Hanford Area, run by the
government, where they actually put together the bombs that were
dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  It's just outside Richland, Washington. 
And it's the Richland Bombers you are referring to.  However, 
unless things have changed since I lived in Richland (about 3 years
ago) there was no "cute little mushroom cloud" logo.

Actually, most people don't even realize why the Bombers were
originally named the "Bombers."

Let us not forget Walla-Walla, home of the WA-HI Blue Devils.  The logo is
very much like that mentioned for the Maniacs, above.
