A little while ago on net.legal a discussion of whether rape trials should be televised, and in general whether any trials should be televised, was held. Yesterday I read a story where that situation is taken up. I'm not sure if I agree with the story or not, but it is vastly entertaining. If you can, get a hold of A Criminal Proceeding, by Gene Wolfe. I read it in Plan[e]t Engineering, which is a fan-published book.
