Seiko has a one year limited warranty on their wrist watches.
The user guide instructs the owner to fill out a special
warranty coupon and send (or bring - at the owner's expense) it
along with the watch to one of their repair outlets, in the
event that the watch requires servicing while still under
warranty.
What is interesting is that only one such coupon is supplied in
the user guide and the warranty specifically states that
photocopies of the slip will not be honored (in other words, you
have to send in the one and only copy.)
I am curious to know whether this implies that while there is
indeed a one year limited warranty on the watch, it would only
cover a single repair (a one-shot deal,) or whether one would
reasonably expect a replacement coupon to accompany the watch
upon its return?
