["Your Popery, this is a simple case of pie rights." --American Pie] I don't know why, but this discussion reminds me of Alan Herbert's "Modern Misleading Cases in the Common Law." Especially Chicken v. Ham, the Gramophone Libel Case. ("Is a phonographic recording a written message or a spoken message?") Can we stop trying to find precedents?
