[net.legal] Orphaned Response

Colorado has two levels:
DWAI (Driving while ability impaired) : .05 (!) BAC
DUI (driving under the influence) : .10 BAC

I forget what the penalties are but DUI is much harsher. Personally, I
think the .05 "crime" is a joke. It would only take me two beers over
30-40 minutes to reach that level, and I know I can drive better after
two beers than most of the clowns they let drive straight.

The worst thing about the law is that people who get busted for BAC
over .10 (usually ~ .15) get their cases pleaded down to the lesser
DWAI quite frequently.

As usual, HP has nothing to do with what I say here.
