Perhaps this would belong in net.micro, but I unsubscribed from it long ago, when it started to be overwhelming in volume. In any case, here goes... A colleague of mine asked me: What is the origin of the word 'mouse' to describe the little box with a wire connecting it to a computer which is used as an input device, etc.? (this is my bad phrasing of the question; I'm tired and don't feel like thinking tonight). Please contact me via e-mail if you have any theories/facts/stories/myths. If there is interest, I will summarize to the net. -- Stuart Freedman {genrad|ihnp4|ima}!wjh12!talcott!sesame!stuart Data General Corp.
