Funny coincidence: just after the discussion about the mail-order ads from Abernathy and Closther, Consumer Reports came out with an article called "Shearing the Suckers" (2/86, page 87) that talks about "mail-order scams." If you're interested in this, you should read it. It's an eye-opener.
