The thruth is that I have no facts to back up my statement insofar that I personally do not of anyone who has been subjected to the previously mentioned working conditions by Burroughs Corp. What I do know is that my statement was not intended to be a serious one, nor was it itended to hurt no one's "company" pride; obviously you missed the point here !!. What I also do know, and you don't, is that I also did worked for Burroughs in the past, for the same group I believe you work for now(MCG,ex MCO), under what could be easylly be termed as highly negative and unprofessional environment, where my department mngr took advantage of my then inmature, and ignorant job market experience to really run me through the mill for peanuts !!. When I finally wised up and quit from the dammed place I found that my same skills earned me a 57% increase in pay,in a much more positive working environment, somewhere else. Things might have changed by now at Burroughs-MCG,and you wheren't working there at the time, but if you ask around to any of the old timmers what was it like there in the days right after George Cone left they'll be able to tell you what low company morale is all about. That is of course, big bob, if there is any people left there from those days, which I believe there is. So maybe it was rather unappropiate for me to make such a comment, on the net, about a company such as Burroughs Corp., as it was rather unappropiate for you to have rattled off your "big mouth" at me, in the net, without fully understanding my motives or my reasons. I hope that next time when you feel that something that I have said in the net ruffles your feathers, you will be kind enough to reply to me your concerns with a "r" on your keyboard. I,m sure we'll end saving a lot of phone bill money that way, plus we'll spare our fellow netters from the griefs of having to put up with discussions like this one.
