    Bob, first of all, my educated guess based on what I have heard from 
    people here who have interviewed and/or worked with both companies, is
    that the original posting was in reference to EDS. Second, it seems that
    EDS is "as bad as all that", and that the original posting pretty much
    described a typical EDS modus operandi scheme. And third, no. Burroughs
    is not as bad as that. I had a bad experience when I worked for them and
    took this occasion to throw in, what I now admit was, a cheap punch.
    Actually, Burroughs is a very good place to start right after school and,
    depending where you end up at, a very good place to continue on. Like all
    big companies, it has its good places and its bad places. Unfortunatelly
    for me, I was in a not so good place/situation.
    I think if you had to choose between the two companies, in equal terms, I
    say Burroughs is a smarter bet.
