Job Title:  Member of Technical Staff.

Company:  Central Services Organization.  The divestiture of AT&T
	   created this Research and Planning organization to 
	   guide the Bell Phone companies in offering new
	   data/voice/video communication services.
	  You will join thousands of Engineers transferred from Bell
	   Laboratories, AT&T and other Bell Operating Companies.

Location:  Before May 1984, West Long Branch, New Jersey.
	   After May 1984, Middletown, New Jersey.  (Exit 109 of
	   Garden State Parkway.)  One hour drive from New York City,
	   One and a half hours drive from Atlantic City or Philadelphia.


Job Descriptions:

  1.  Active participation in the Technical meetings of the ANSI,
	CCITT, and ISO standards organizations.
  2.  Work with data network service/protocol/interface designers to
	bring their interests to the standards meetings.
  3.  Prepare technical contributions to the standards meetings.
  4.  International (Europe) travel approximately three times a year.
	Domestic travel approximately once a month.

Qualifications:

  1.  Strong technical knowledge of X.25, ISO Open Systems
	Interconnection (OSI) Model.  Knowledge of Computer
	Networking and Data Communication.  Development experience
	preferred but not necessary.
  2.  Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  3.  Ability to work with people.
  4.  Willingness to travel.
