[bell.wanted] Info on Integrated Computer Systems

rcj@burl.UUCP (01/24/84)

We here at AT&T Technologies in Burlington, NC are developing micro-
support tools and microcode for a Navy signal processor being designed
by Bell Labs in Whippany, NJ. We are looking for a good signal
processing course for our people to take, and have been referred to
an outfit called Integrated Computer Systems; they use "from the
learning tree (tm)" as a trade name/slogan.

Has anyone heard anything about this outfit and/or taken one of their
courses? How good was the course, and was it worth the money?
How many people were in the course, and what were their backgrounds?
(This last one because often an instructor must start at a lower level
than she would like because not everyone in the audience is on the
same level; we would have the opportunity to get a dedicated course
somewhat tailored to our needs.)

Thanks very much for any effort expended to answer this; you may reach
me at the address/phone below -- PLEASE DO NOT REPLY VIA NEWS!!!!!

Curtis

P.S.: Sorry for the posting to net.misc, all you flamers, but there
didn't seem to be a group tailored to this sort of thing. If I am
wrong in that assumption, feel free to correct me.
