My assistant, who is taking over much of the system administration
on this machine, needs some basic background in programming. She
has no computer background at all, but over the last 6 months or
so has built up a good familiarity with the shell and basic UNIX
tools. However, she's hampered by not having a background in programming.
She needs to be able to modify shell programs, and at least understand
the function of C programs.
Question: are there any courses in Toronto which anyone can recommend?
Any basic college or university courses in programming which use C?
Or something similar which would be appropriate?
