What follows is a slightly condensed version of a meeting announcement
that may be of interest. If you are not an ICC member, and are going to
attend, please reply to me so that I can give the organizers some
idea of the number of people going. Note that there is a $5.00 fee.
October Meeting
Institute of Creative Communications (ICC)
New developments in P.C. graphics capabilities: the ATARI 520ST.
There will be a demonstration of the new 520ST which is billed as the
'next quantum leap' for personal computing power. The GEM interface
(Graphics Environment Manager) will be demonstrated by Electronic Playworld
using new software from Electronic Arts, Mirage and Haba Systems.
5:30 pm Tuesday October 8, at the Computer Centre, Queen's Quay Building
near Harbourfront. The Computer Centre is located past the entrance to the
Premier Dance Theatre, towards the lake side of Queen's Quay.
Meeting admission is $5.00 for non-members. This goes toward a membership
of $35.00. Student memberships are available at $20.00.
