I am renting a small self-contained flat in my townhouse at 225 Berkeley St. (Parliament & Dundas), available Jan 1. It would be ideal for a single female grad student, and consists of a decent-sized bedroom, big walk-in closet, luxurious bathroom, and big private deck. There is a little nook with a small fridge and counter-top burners for cooking facilities (my kitchen is available for special occasions, but not on a regular basis). Washer and dryer are available in the basement, likewise a fair amount of storage space. Parking is also available -- in the garage for a small car, or the drive for a large one. The major disadvantage is that the entrance is not private -- you have to walk though my living room to get to the stairs. Rent is $350/month (including utilities), or $250/month plus my housework (approx. 2 hrs/week). I am looking for a QUIET, NON-SMOKING, FEMALE tenant who must like animals; I have 4 cats plus other assorted beasties. The house is new and beautiful, 20 min by TTC from U. of T.
