My brother (Ted) would like to sell his Macintosh 128K to someone
in the Toronto area for $1500 or best (higher or lower) offer.
It is an original Macintosh (w/o upgrades) in good working order
with the following exceptions:
1) The battery that backs up the clock chip needs replacing
2) The ?/ and Return keys on the keyboard require strong fingers
to operate (he'd get them fixed, but won't bother if whoever
buys it is going to get the keyboard upgraded anyway).
No peripherals (except mouse and keyboard), but you're welcome
to a vast amount (dozens of disks) of good software with the mac.

you can pass this offer on to someone off-net, they can call
Ted at home at 463-4593 between 09:00 and 23:00 with some chance
of reaching him (he's an astronomy undergrad so I don't think
I can get any more specific than that) and a better chance of
leaving a message with someone.
