Does anyone have any leads on where to buy *real* IBM XT keyboards? (Other
than IBM, of course, who undoubtedly charge a small fortune for them.) We
(unfortunately) have a number of XTs and XT clones, and need new keyboards.
Why real IBM keyboards rather than Brand X? Well, our experience has been
that they seem to break less, last longer, etc.: Of all the IBM keyboards
that we've had, only one has gone bad. Of the clone keyboards (of which we
have a number of different brands) ALL have died (or at least have exhibited
unacceptable levels of flakiness).
This is probably the first time in eons that I've had anything positive to
say about IBM, but life is sometimes stranger than fantasy. Anyway, leads
would be appreciated. Used/reconditioned keyboards would be OK. Thanks.
