Now don't start laughing immediately, hear me out first.
When we bought our new house last November, we became the proud owners of not
1, but 2 of those old cast iron bathtubs with the feet. One is trapped in a
very small room in the basement, the other was outside - neither one was in
use as a bathtub.
Anyway, we want to get rid of the one in the backyard and I have been told
that they are now collectors items? It is a little rusted around the
plumbing openings, and one of the legs has been removed (but it is undamaged
and I still have it). Other than that it looks like it just needs some
cleaning up and new paint.
If anyone out there wants this beastie, it is yours for FREE if you will come
with a vehicle strong enough to carry it away. These old things weigh
several hundred pounds, but I will be more than willing to help you load it
onto a truck. If I get no response in 2 weeks, I will try to make special
arrangements with Garbage Collection to come and take it away.
