Am I the only one who thinks that this sort of reply reflects poorly on
the maturity and sensitivity of the replier, rather than on the
cleverness of the asker?  This is the sort of behavior you expect from
a twelve-year-old.

Maybe I have a distorted notion of the average age of Usenet
correspondents   :-)
