[tor.general] SNA TESTING IN TORONTO

sean@geac.UUCP (Sean Phelan) (02/10/89)

Is there an easy way of testing a 3270 cluster controller emulation ( SNA )
to a host in Toronto ? We are developing software which uses an SNA package
on a Unix box, and finding an SNA host to connect to has proved difficult.
We've looked into setting up an account with Crowntek, but that was going to
cost about $12000, by the time we had a line installed, with minimum
billing, etc.

Some simple application that puts up protected fields would be ideal,
preferably with dial-up access ( yes, I know that's difficult for SDLC,
but it's certainly possible. )

Any help, advice or offers of a connection would be most welcome.

Thanks very much !!!!
