Now that there is no 'backbone' per se, I'd like to know if changes to the mailpaths file are in order. Are there any sites in this distribution that have mapped the aliases for moderated groups? To date, according to the information I have, the nearest site with that capability is watmath. Is this still true? It strikes me that it would not be particularly difficult to turn the regularly posted list of moderators into such a series of aliases. Is there a reason why this practice is not widespread? The issue may be moot if Cnews handles moderated groups differently. Is the official release of Cnews available yet? -- Evan Leibovitch, SA of System Telly, located in beautiful Brampton, Ontario evan@telly.on.ca / {uunet!attcan, utzoo}!telly!evan You can lead a herring to water, but you have to walk really fast or he'll die

Pretty much the same, actually; we couldn't see any room for massive improvements, and wanted to keep compatibility. >Is the official release of Cnews available yet? Not quite yet. Our official release date was the 24th, and this will probably slip a week or so due to my being home sick most of the week following Usenix. -- The Earth is our mother; | Henry Spencer at U of Toronto Zoology our nine months are up. | uunet!attcan!utzoo!henry henry@zoo.toronto.edu
