Hello again,
We're buying an Exabyte 8MM backup system + SCSI controller for
our Sun 4/280. The third party vendor is DILOG and they are selling
us a Ciprico 3513 controller.
I was reading in the Sun Observer that they tested an Exabyte unit
with the Ciprico 3510 controller. What is the difference between a 3513
and a 3510? The salesman at DILOG thought the Exabyte wouldn't need any
special software (ie, device drivers). Is this true?
I'd like to hear your experiences with Exabytes if you have time.
