The UNIX Special Interest Group of the Canadian Information Processing
Society (CIPS) is pleased to announce its next meeting:

June 20, 1989: Geoffrey McDowell, Four Seasons Hotel
The Four Seasons Hotel has recently been in the UNIX news for switching
their complete computer operations to a UNIX platform. Mr. McDowell will
be talking about why they made that decision and report on progress after
a year's efforts. We expect to hear some interesting "war stories".

July 18, 1989: Greg Kiessling, Sun Microsystems
Mr. Kiessling will be talking about X11/News, their merged graphics
offering. There will be a demonstration, hardware TBA.

The UNIX SIG is mainly oriented towards people who are new to UNIX. All
meetings take place at the Board of Trade, from 6:15 to 7:30 pm. Both members
and non-members are welcome. We hope to see you there.
