I've the opportunity to play a little with an IBM PS\2 Model 70 (386) and SCO XENIX 386 Ver. 2.3.2, and I've come up with a few questions: 1) Are there any outstanding bugs in this version of Xenix that I should be aware of? Any compatibility problems with previous versions, software or device drivers? Any nuances which may give "interesting" behavior? ` 2) Does anyone have any sort of backup system they might recommend for this machine? A QIC backup tape would be ideal, but I haven't heard much of late about external drives with a Microchannel controller, or internal drives which would fit into the chassis of the Model 70 (which, for those of you not particularly familiar with the Model 70, is about the same size and footprint of the Model 30, although the innards move a little faster). 3) Does anyone out there have any recommendations on a multiport serial card workable with Microchannel? A four port card would likely be sufficient, but 8 would be nice. I'd greatly appreciate any critiques and comments about the machine and proposed hardware; I know little about them currently and could use a little education!
