[tor.general] Telebit Trailblazer Plus

brian@jtsv16.UUCP (Brian A. Jarvis) (07/18/89)

Ok, Ok, I *know* this topic has been bantered around since time immemorial,
but a friend of mine (Hi, Greg!) has just acquired one for his machine
and I'm currently not qualified to help him set the thing up.

Greg's running a 386 machine (AT bus, for what it matters) with SCO XENIX
386 2.3.2; he has a Telebit Trailblazer Plus. Now:
1) What dip switch settings (if any) must be made on the modem?
2) What adjustments to the /etc/gettydefs file will have to be made?
3) What wonderful control sequences must be added to the dial-up scripts?
4) Are there other wondrous items I have overlooked?

I'll collect the responses, memorize them for future reference, then
pass them along to Greg so that he can get his beastie up and running
and join us on the net.

He'll likely be at the next Unix Unanimous meeting to give us an update,
or ask further questions! You have been warned! B{)

Thanks muchly!

Brian
