[tor.general] Info wanted on "Dataroute" modem by Amdahl Communications

I recently acquired a modem thru a friend of a friend of a friend...
This modem is a "DATAROUTE" model, made by Amdahl Communications. It
is only sold to Bell Canada. The problem is that I don't know how to
use it; either it does not work or it is not Hayes compatible.

I would really appreciate it if somebody could give me a hand with it.

The model you have is for point-to-point use on a 4 wire circuit.
It won't be any good to you unless you have 2 and some way of
connecting them together over some distance. It probably is 1200 baud also.
(see the options on bottom).

Suggestion: Give it back to your friend.... it's not worth the trouble...
