I'm reviving my Cromix systems for production use, and looking for any user groups, sources of parts, sources of software, or just about anything else having to do with Cromix. Dynatech Computers (nee Cromemco) won't even talk to you unless you're running at least an XXU system. The IOCU has been dead for two years, and the very few VARs, software vendors, and distributors that are still in business at all appear to have discarded their old stock. And that is the biggest thing I'm trying to prevent: people throwing things out. Please reply by E-mail. FYI, I am running 68000 Cromix 31.40 (one short of the last release) and Z80 Cromix 11.22 (absolutely the last release). Since Dynatech neither sells or supports any of this stuff any more, I'd guess they couldn't care less about people swapping it around. I also have some spare boards, although they are the same spare boards probably everyone has: 4FDC, TUART, PRI, and ZPU. <csg>
